I highly recommend Kristen at In It Together Physical Therapy. Kristen helped me work on two separate issues, and I was always struck by her understanding of the human body and her ability to explain things to me in a relatable way. I trusted her from day one. She’s constantly learning and researching, so that she can better serve her patients. In one session in particular, I could actually see and feel an increase in my back’s mobility, and the exercises and stretches she taught me have allowed me to self-manage when I feel any pain or tightness arising in my low back. These tools have been incredible. Kristen clearly loves her work and is passionate about helping people feel and move better. Plus, she’s just a pleasure to be around. Anytime I need PT in the future, Kristen will be my go-to.

Kristen at In It Together PT is outstanding. I lucked out BIG TIME by finding her to treat me for my chronic back issues, nerve pain, and weakness. She has helped me through terrible nerve flare-ups, including educating me on how to cope with them at home (so life can go on). She has helped me get stronger, more coordinated with movement, and therefore more mobile so that flare-ups are few and far between. She adjusts exercises to my physical limitations and slowly builds so that I now I'm doing more than I thought was possible for my situation. I have never left a session with her in more pain than when I started and have been able to cut back on meds. With Kristen, I have found relief, strength, knowledge (she's fantastic about teaching the WHYs and HOWs), compassion, and as cheesy as this sounds, hope. Early on, standing up from chair hurt (she taught me how to do that correctly right off the bat), and now I can goof off with my family, go shopping with my friends, workout, and even travel.

I can't say enough amazing things about Kristen. My teenage daughter had unexplained foot pain after a break healed. Multiple doctors and physical therapists didn't make any improvement until we found Kristen. She gave my daughter her life back as she found the root problem and worked on it with her.
She also came in an emergency when another one of my teenagers had their back spasm causing her to not be able to move. Her expert skills helped my daughter be able to get back to activity. Kristen is a Godsend.

Kristen is highly skilled in many modes of treatment for knee injuries including manual, dry needling, gait and posture education, and of course therapy exercises to relieve pain and increase strength and stability. She followed up with me promptly when I re-injured myself, and sent videos to guide me. She really cares about people!

I highly recommend In It Together Physical Therapy. My brother is a 77 year old adult who was born with serious physical and mental disabilities. He is the nicest person you will ever meet and my best friend. I have been his legal guardian for 11 years. His recent medical journey has been horrific. Parkenson’s, NPH, many UTIs, etc etc and 3 months in bed in hospitals and “rehab” nursing homes almost killed him. Now on Hospice, I had almost lost hope. I thought physical therapy might help, but I had little hope. I did extensive research and selected Kristen at In It Together. Since he is on hospice, I must pay for each visit. This is the best investment I have ever made. She is fantastic. She says “Call me Kristen”, but I cant help but recognise she is Doctor Kristen Severson. My brother took 10 steps last week. In three weeks she enabled him to go from not standing in months, dispite the Mental Retardation, Parkinson’s, dimension, CP and NPH to get him walking again. Wow. He is “graduating” from hospice, and I will continue with Kristen... She has a gentle compassionate touch coupled with the clarity and focus of a Marine drill sergeant as needed. This would not have been successful had she not work closely with my brother’s care givers and nurse to greatly leverage her skills. My brother has a long road to travel, but I believe that Kristen has my brother on the right road.
